Teen Information and Resources

Our 2016 Teen Summer Volunteers are off to a great start! Kick-Off was a success with all of their help. They will also be assisting with our 10:30 morning programs this summer: Wacky Wednesdays, Monday Toddler Time and Friday Story time, and our 4o’clock afternoon ones: Mondays with Chopper, Hands on Fun Thursdays, and the Magic Tree Book Club on Tuesday afternoons!

The library couldn’t function during the summer with their help with shelving! There is a special slot for those who just want to shelve!

There are Teen Programs this summer to help engage our Tween/Teen population. Ages 11 and up (and adults) are welcome to attend our Saturday programs. June 18th Stop Motion Animation Workshop (10-12 and 2-5), June 25th Legos for Teens of all ages (free style 2-5), July 9th Screenwriting Workshop followed by the filming of our Annual Zombie Movie (10-12 and 2-5), July 16th Soldering and Raspberry Pi (10-12 and 2-5).

We will also have an entry in Wimberley’s Fourth of July Parade, have possible chess playing days, and celebrate Shark Week with a viewing of Jaws!
