The University of Texas' Center for American History The University of Texas' Center for American History houses early Texas newspapers, personal manuscripts, city directories, biographical encyclopedias, and county histories. Includes a bibliography of genealogy works in print. Ancestry.com Search a number of databases including census records, war records, and death indexes. The U.S. Census Bureau The U.S. Census Bureau offers some limited Genealogical services. They will search records for specific individuals from the 1910-1990 census results.
