The Wimberley Village Library was created in the hearts and minds of community volunteers in 1976. It began as a small collection of donated books in a vacant room of a local church. It has since grown to over 40,000 items in varying formats.
Books aren’t the only items available to check out. The library has DVDs, CD books, downloadable books, magazines, puppets, internet access and more. Educational and entertaining programs for children and adults are provided on a weekly and monthly basis as well.
