Our library has a new Interlibrary Loan service, the Texas Group Catalog ,that will make it easier for you to find and get materials you need from libraries in Texas as well as from libraries across the country or around the world. You can monitor your patron requests and send requests to other libraries in the Texas Group based on both policies and availability of the item.

*Your library account must be in good standing to place and check out an Interlibrary Loan.

* There is a $2.00 postage recovery fee for each Interlibrary Loan received.

1. Enter your Search term in the space above and select Everything, Articles, Books, DVDs or Audio Books
2. You can also do an Advance Search
3. Click on “Go”
4. Click on the item you want
5. Find a copy in the libraries and check for availabiliy
6. Click on button “Request Item”
7. Choose your Home Library (scroll down to Wimberley Village Library)
8. Click on “Continue”
9. Login to Wimberley Village Library - Texas ILL Login
10. Enter your Card Number and Telephone number (area code 512 not needed)
11. Login
12. In “Request this item” screen enter your email address. *Please note: It’s mandatory that you enter your correct email address. The other information is optional.
13. Click on “continue”
14. “Request Successful!” (Your request has been place).

To View all the Interlibrary loan requests you have placed, follow these instructions:

1. On the “Request Successful” screen, hover over “Texas Group Catalog” and click on “My Requests”
2. On a new screen choose your home library (Wimberley Village Library)
3. Click on “continue”
4. Enter your card number and telephone number
5. Login
6. A new screen will appear with the list of all the interlibrary loan requests you have placed.
7. Sign out from your account (top right corner).
