The Magic Tree House Book Club

MTH_KidsThe book club meets every Thursday at 3:30-4:15pm between the months of September and April. The club is designed for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade to help foster an interest in chapter books. During a typical meeting, attendees make a craft related to the book being introduced that day from the Magic Tree House series. Then the fun begins! Jack and Annie puppets, the main characters of the series, introduce the day’s featured book from the series. Extra copies of the books are available for check out if parents/caretaker wants to finish reading the book with their child.

Who conducts the book club?
Kathleen Goodson and Emily Robertson work together to present a creative and lively session each week.

Does my child have to attend every week to be part of this program?
Children do not have to attend every week to participate, but frequent attendance will help your child feel more comfortable.

Do I have to stay with my child?
