ARCADE NIGHT FOR TEENS & TWEENS
Friday, June 214:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Don’t forget TEEN & TWEEN Arcade Night today! It will take place in the new meeting room located in the expanded wing!
This will be our third time hosting this super entertaining event with Blanco River Academy teacher, Kyle Kunkel. It’s always a fun time for the kids!
All the arcades and their housing have been designed and built by local teenagers under the guidance and mentorship of Kyle Kunkel! Kyle and some of the talented teen game designers will be here with us on Friday to show off their games!
All kids will be able to play the games to earn tickets 🎟 which they can exchange for snacks & prizes at the games table!
This event is completely free! Recommended for teens & tweens ages 8+.

NEW LIBRARY COMPLEX OPENS ON SATURDAY, JUNE 22!

EXPANDED WING + RENOVATED WING = NEW LIBRARY COMPLEX!

We are thrilled to announce the reopening of the renovated wing starting Saturday, June 22.

The renovated wing will house the adult collection and computers for patron use. The Spanish collection, audiobooks, DVDs, and Large Print collection will also be available in this area.

Our regular operating hours will resume: Mondays & Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We request patrons to enter the premises using the old parking lot entrance and exit only at the Green Acres light. Both parking lots will be open to the public.

Two drop boxes are available: the new drive-up book drop box in the expanded wing’s parking lot and the book drop box by the side entrance in the renovated wing.

Meeting rooms are still unavailable until further notice.

We look forward to welcoming our patrons and the community to the new library complex!
