Friends of the Wimberley Library help promote and encourage the use of the resources and services here at Wimberley Village Library. We help to better the community, by helping provide funds, and volunteer assistance. This enables the library to enhance resources, facilities, and expand services. We also develop programs to meet the cultural, educational and information needs of library users.
Any person, family or entity may become a member of the Friends upon payment of membership dues. Becoming a Friend is easy and affordable because of the memberships that are available.
A few of the many benefits you or your business will receive as a Friend of the Library:
- Knowing that you are helping a worthy cause in the community by helping to:
- Fund materials and equipment beyond the basics
- Contribute to children’s programming and collections
- Sponsor special events and lectures for the community
- Special “Friends Only” preview sale the evening before one of the periodic book sale for the public
