Class registration begins on Friday at noon for the next week’s classes ONLY and closes again on Monday at noon. To register for classes, you must register between 12 pm Friday and 12 pm Monday.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1.       Visit the Library’s homepage and scroll down to the Events Calendar.

2.       Go to the date of the class you want to attend.

3.       Click the text that says “Registration is required”

4.       Fill in your information.

You should receive a confirmation from Assabet, the library’s scheduling software. Assabet will also send class reminders and a link to cancel if you need to.

February 4: Kissing BoothsPresented by Janna Mills

Assemble and paint a Valentine-themed “booth” to hold chocolate kisses.

 

February 11: Exploring ModiglianiPresented by Jennifer McGee

Join us as we explore the beautiful work of artist Amedeo Modigliani. Taking a very simple approach, we’ll break down how to draw a “Modigliani” face and create a portrait using oil pastels, incorporating some of the elements we see in his work.

 

February 18: Cherry Blossom Blow PaintingPresented by Jen

In this class, participants will explore color, movement, and creativity while learning how simple air flow can transform paint into unique artwork.

 

February 25: Crafty KaleidoscopesPresented by Jen

Make a kaleidoscope from upcycled cardboard, beads, charms, and colorful confetti.

PAPER IN PERSON

Make journal pages, decorative tags and other mixed media projects using a variety of materials.
