The library played host to a Chamber of Commerce breakfast Thursday morning, March 21, with about 40 people in attendance. The breakfast is conducted monthly by the chamber to let members get to know each other in an informal environment. The library’s main reading room was the site for the Thursday activities, and there was plenty of space. However, the event was limited by time because the same room is a pass-through area for folks involved in Tuesday-Thursday chair exercise classes. With more public spaces, as planned for in the library expansion project, more activities could be sponsored simultaneously. Remember: the library offers space when available at no charge. It’s the only free venue in Wimberley. In the photos below, Cynthia Smith, a Wimberley artist, shows off a project she’s helping with to highlight activities in the city; and Roy Cunningham, a 94.1 FM radio show host and AV expert, talks with a client, Barbara Rosen of Wimberley Home Health.
