During Saturday’s Curiosity Club, tweens learned to create a 3x3x3 puzzle cube from scratch. Using engineering principles, they created a 2D sketch of their puzzle cube. Using cube blocks and glue, tweens assembled their cube. While those dried, they created a 3D model of their cube using autocad software. Finally, tweens customized their cubes with some artsy flair before parents came for the parent “presentation.” The Curiosity Club is for those 9 to 12 and meets at 3 p.m. Saturdays at the library multi-purpose room.
