Founded in 1985, Preservation Texas is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a range of statewide preservation programs. Preservation Texas protects historic places through direct investments, grants, and empowering people and organizations through advocacy, collaboration and education. Samantha Hunick, Preservation Texas’s Central Texas Regional Program Officer will provide an overview of the organization’s work to protect endangered historic places within a 28 county region of Central Texas.
