The book-lovers turned out in large numbers today for the annual Friends of the Library book sale at Chapel in the Hills. Today, the sale was open only to members of the Friends. On Saturday, anyone and everyone is welcome.
Rest assured there will be plenty of books left because there are hundreds sorted by categories in the church fellowship hall. In addition to the books, stop by the table at the front door to find out about our plans for a library expansion. In the photo below you find Dennis Lee of the Friends who is handing out information and answering questions.
Also, for the kids or grandkids in your family you can buy a chance to win the go-kart rebuilt this summer by participants in our teen program. Below, too, you can see the go-kart and the table set up outside the church. Pat Galvin, at right in the picture, is in charge of the library young adult and teen programs. You don’t have to be present to win this prize!
