Interlibrary Loan

The use of the Texas Group Catalog will make it easier for you to locate and request materials from other Texas libraries, libraries across the country and libraries around the world. Interlibrary Loan Requests through the Texas Group Catalog are based on both policies and availability of the items at other libraries.

*Your library account must be in good standing before submitting an Interlibrary Loan request.
* There is a $2.00 postage recovery fee for each Interlibrary Loan item received.
*Expect up to two weeks waiting period for items requested to arrive at your library.
  1. Enter your Search term in the space above and select Everything, Articles, Books, DVDs or Audio Books.
  2. You also have the Advance Search option.
  3. Enter your search term and click on “Go.”
  4. Click on the item you want
  5. Click on button “Request Item”
  6. Choose your Home Library by typing in name of your library or select from the list of libraries available.
  7. Click on “Continue”
  8. Login to Wimberley Village Library – Texas ILL Login
  9. Enter your Card Number and Telephone number with the area code.
  10. Login
  11. In “Request this item” screen enter your email address. The other information is optional.
  12. Click on “continue”
  13. “Request Submitted!” (Your request has been placed).
To monitor the Interlibrary Loan requests you have submitted, follow these instructions:
  1. On the “Request Successful” screen, hover over “Texas Group Catalog” (top left corner) and click on “My Requests”
  2. Choose your Home Library by typing in name of your library or select from the list of libraries available.
  3. Click on “continue”
  4. Enter your card number and telephone number with the area code
  5. Login
  6. A new screen will appear with the list of the interlibrary loan requests you have submitted. .
  7. On the My Requests screen you will see the status of your request.
