Summer Kick-off is a special event to celebrate the start of the Summer Reading Program!

SUMMER READING LOGS
Get a brag tag for each reading log you turn in, along with a prize!
The 2024 Summer Reading Program will begin on Wednesday, June 5. The last day to turn in your logs is Friday, August 16.

There are 12 opportunities to play during this week. Players will be able to paint and keep their 3D characters!

TEEN SUMMER CAMP: BATTLEBOTS FOR BEGINNERS
July 9 to July 13
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Ages 13-17
Design and build your own BattleBot from RC Hotwheels cars! Various building materials will be available including soldering iron & 3D printers.
Bots will battle in a tournament at the end of camp on Saturday, July 13!
Tournament open to all! Only 24 spaces available. Contact Miss Josie to register.

Read and review 1 book or 1 graphic novel for 1 entry into a drawing!

For every 5 activities completed, you get 1 entry into a drawing.
Return your reading brochure by August 1. The drawing will take place on August 5.

Take some friends, or the whole family on a tour of our beautiful town!
This program will run from June 5 to July 20.
Adventure packets will be available on June 5.
The drawing will take place on Monday, July 22 @ noon!
Prize: The winner will receive four (4 ) one-day admission tickets to Sea World San Antonio!
Stop by the library to pick up an adventure packet. Use the map provided to find the boots located around Wimberley.
Visit the boot’s location. Answer the question related to the boot you visited. Visit as many boots as you’d like.
For every 5 boots you visit, you get one entry into the drawing! Good luck and have fun!

Learn how to use Aaron’s dynamic formula 3 + 2 to turn a basic salad into endless variations of make-ahead salads to prep and eat all week long!
Participants will work in teams of 4 people and then enjoy their salads at the latter part of class!
