Teens who are part of the go-kart renovation team and teens who otherwise volunteer at the library this summer got up early on the Fourth to prepare our float for the big Wimberley parade through downtown. Under the supervision of teen librarian Pat Galvin they rearranged the hay bails and loaded up the go-kart frame, put water in their squirt bottles and prepared to give out 25 pounds of candy! All went well, and the crowds were as big as ever along FM 2325 and Ranch Road 12. The temperature was perfect and the skies were cloudy, so it never got unbearable. Join us next year!
