Wimberley area residents interested in gardening found out about plants and their growth at a class conducted this week by Brad Aldrich of the Wimberley Garden Club.

A dozen folks heard his presentation entitled “Understanding Plant Nutrition” that covered photosynthesis, essential nutrients, micro-organisms, nitrogen, composting and much more. The program was called “In the Garden with Master Gardeners.”

This program is yet another among hundreds presented each year in the library’s only multi-purpose room for public events, a situation library trustees and foundation members hope to remedy by building a $1.7 million addition to the present building at 400 FM 2325.
