Military

Fold3 is a military records site purchased by the Library and provided by Ancestry. It includes military records for the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Records are broken out by time period/conflict (e.g. the Vietnam War, the Revolutionary War).

This is a collection of military service links provided by the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN, one of the best genealogy libraries in the USA. Some of these records will overlap those found in other databases such as Fold3, but some will be unique.

This database is operated by the National Park Service, although it is no longer updated, and provides information specific to the US Civil War. Rosters, battles, locations, etc. for both sides.
