Volunteers do most of the set-up for our very popular Doc Night series, and the monthly movie event has become so popular that the whole shebang has to be moved into the main room of the library; everything else gets moved out.

This kind of set-up arrangement isn’t hard to do, but it takes a lot of time and effort. And it would be wonderful if the library had a space large enough to handle the 40 or so people who enjoy Doc Night on a regular basis — and other similar programs such as our Wacky Wednesday shows during the summer.

Space is a key limitation for the library, one we hope is removed when our new addition is finished. It’s only in the very first phases right now — and that involves fund-raising. Call the library and ask for Juniper to learn more about this.

This photo was taken during set-up on Tuesday night, Sept. 4. The other photo was taken last month during the show.
